Glance N Go is an agricultural app that helps farmers determine if a sorghum field is infested with aphids and requires treatment. Using factors such as expected yield potential, grain prices, and pest presence, the app provides data-driven recommendations based on a small field sample recorded by the user. The design ensures clarity and usability, making complex agricultural assessments more accessible and efficient. This project was created in collaboration with designer Elly Campbell.

Identified Issues and Design Solutions
01. Instruction Placement
Problem: In the original app, sampling instructions were located on a separate screen from the actual sampling process forcing users to memorize steps.
Solution: Integrate a step-by-step, in-process guide directly into the sampling workflow. This helps reduce cognitive load and improves task efficiency.

03. Sampling Exit Warning
Problem: In the original version, users could accidentally exit the sampling process without warning,
losing unsaved data.
Solution: Introduce a confirmation prompt when users attempt to exit during sampling. This notification warns them that their current sample will not be saved unless they complete or confirm the action, reducing the chance of accidental data loss.

Solution: Redesign the app icon and apply a cohesive, modern visual style throughout the interface. This gives the app a more professional, memorable, and trustworthy appearance tailored to its agricultural user base.
